I just tried a wool blanket on my bed. I have never had the opportunity because I was allergic to wool most of my life, at least in my early life. I have since grown out of it. And with the recent cold spell, I have really been suffering from the cold, especially at night. I would be cold, and then layer extra blankets, and then overheat in the middle of the night. I went onto YouTube and learned through one of the documentary like videos, how people kept warm before electric heaters, etc. I broke down and ordered this 95% wool blanket. Last night, I slept like a baby. I didn't overheat. I didn't get cold. The wool kept my husband and me warm, but not too warm. This is life-changing for me. I washed it in the machine yesterday and put it in the dryer on low heat. The green is a really nice color. This blanket is 95% wool, and it's at a great price. I looked everywhere. Not all of them are that high a percentage of wool, and some of them are way more expensive.

Dear fucking christ, they're baggies you puke into. They don't--or at least haven't yet--leak, so I guess that's five-stars right there. Honest, I'm not thinking about being fashionable or whatever when I'm using them, I'm just puking.

Absolutely the best first aid kit I've found, and the price is very cheap for the quality items that you get.
Still I added a few items. Blood clot, some more Israeli bandages and wound zip closures. I believe we're ready for whatever happens but praying that we'll not need it.
Always better to be prepared!
