The Rapid Application Tourniquet Gen 2 is engineered for fast and effective control of life-threatening bleeding in prehospital and tactical settings. All orders are processed upon receipt (excluding weekends and select legal holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. MediTac proudly ships to our Armed Forces APO/FPO customers.

Delivery Time & Delays

Delivery time on most orders is up to 7 business days within the contiguous 48 states. In the event of delays, every effort will be made to contact you by phone, e-mail or mail. Actual shipping time is dependent on:

Availability of merchandise
Weather or other natural conditions
Carrier operating schedules, delays or disruptions

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Orders 50 or more qualify for free freight. Excludes first aid cases.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. MediTac is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within 7 business days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@meditackits.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at info@meditackits.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

Great RATs style tourniquet. The Gen 2 version has updates making it easier to use. HIGHLY recommend buying for outdoorsman or to add to any first aid kit. Especially for you have pets, elderly, or small children you are responsible for.

This is exactly as advertised. You can put this on yourself with one hand. (Might need to one day) so you can put it on yourself. I'm very happy and pleased with my purchase.

First off, I'm not a medical professional nor LEO/Military. Just a citizen trying to be a little more prepared everyday.When you use it AS DIRECTED.. it works.. on arms and legs. I'm 6'3 260 pounds and I've tested on myself several times just to see... my pain is your gain. Arms and legs... no capillary refill and no distal pulse when once again APPLIED PROPERLY. However this is not really a one handed device although it can be done I will still be carrying a CAT gen 7 for self application should the need arise. This though... perfect for helping others... 20 dollars and 10 minutes learning how to apply it just might save someone's life.

Amazing product

I got this because I carry. I also have children and wanted something that was able to go around their small limbs. After seeing the video with James Yeager and the owner explain this system, ilI was sold.

So this is not THE BEST TQ on the market. A CAT or a SOFT will do better for most people as a TQ. However, for every day carry and as a secondary/backup TQ, there work great. They are capable of shrinking down small enough to work on infants and dogs too.It's not the best TQ. But it's good. And like all tools it requires training and forethought to utilize under stressful conditions.

Price, I hope it works my sons a nurse practitioner and my grandsonâ€™s got this for his graduation to put in his medical bag to keep in the car

So easy to use, instructional video from their website made it simple to practice with. At around $25 CDN this tourniquet belongs in anyone's first aid kit, backpack, bug out bag etc. In minutes I was able to restrict blood flow on myself, with zero practical training I know I could use it on a bleeding victim, it's that easy. There is no actual way to mess up because it can slip on a limb either direction, because the line is so thin, it can tighten VERY hard, even over clothes. Unlike more expensive and fancier looking CAT tourniquet types, this RATS tourniquet can be used on kids and pets, it slides down to tiny diameters. Will get more!
